Light to moderate rains will continue in Mindanao due to the trough or extended clouds of low pressure area (LPA) while northeast monsoon continues affecting Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Saturday.
In its advisory, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas, the regions of Cagayan, Cordillera and the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to northeast monsoon while Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
It added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon, Eastern Visayas and over the Caraga and Davao regions and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. PNA
