THE Tuason Racing School (TRS) announced it will hold on August 24 and 25 at the Batangas Racing Circuit one of the biggest gatherings of motor sport events this year.
Now on its third year, the TRS Raceday has become bigger and better with the inclusion of the Philippine Touring Car Championship (PTCC) as one of the races to headline the event. The PTCC, organized by Automobile Association Phils. and the Philippine Race Car Drivers Inc., is expected to draw more than 20 entries.
TRS said that also to be staged is the Bridgestone Retro Race that’s forecast to bring in more than 40 cars on the grid. The event, one of the most successful grassroots races in the country, only accepts for competition cars that are built in 1985 and older. Sharing the spot on the tarmac is the Track Attack event that’s organized by TRS, Stivo and Rota Wheels, and the Bridgestone Track Day, which is expected to attract around 120 cars from Ford Club Phils., Mitsu Club, LanEvo and ACE.
TRS, which has been operating for 15 years, is the longest-running and only professional racing school in the country. The company said its goal is to provide cost-effective and accessible entry into motor sports through karting and circuit car racing.
The TRS Track Day is supported by Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, Puma, Coke Zero, Acer, OMP, C! Magazine, Oakley, Aguila Auto Glass, Go Pro, Lifeline Ambulance, Karate Kid, Toptul, Elig, Bellevue, Rota, Brembo and Has Travel. For more information, e-mail email@example.com.
