If you want to see the most famous celebrities of TV5 all at the same time, all you have to do is to tune in to the network’s newest Sunday noontime show, Happy Truck ng Bayan, beginning June 14.

Described as “a first-of-its-kind game and musical variety show” on wheels (yes, a roving truck will transform into an actual stage,” the program will reunite singing funny men and good friends Ogie Alcasid and TV5’s newest recruit Janno Gibbs as lead hosts, with the support of (take a deep breath) TV5 “King” Derek Ramsay and TV5 princess Jasmine Curtis Smith; stalwart talents Gelli de Belen and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla; comedians Tuesday Vargas, Empoy and Kim; and young actors Mark Neumann, Shaira Mae, Akihiro Blanco, Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert and Chanel Morales.

The concept of Happy Truck Ng Bayan hopes to thrill Filipinos all across the nation by bringing the show right at their doorstep.

The very long roster of hosts for what is dubbed as “TV5’s biggest project this 2015” will be known collectively as “Happypeeps,” and will extend “weekly happiness and cheer” to 10 barangays of various well-populated areas in the country and give away big prizes coming from the program’s game segments. These are “Barangay’s Most Wanted;” “Bida Ng Dance Floor!;” “OCW: Ooooh… Construction Worker!;” “Barangay Bayani;” “Ta-Wattpad;” “Ready, Set, Goma!;” “Sing-Ko;” and “Kwarta o Kwar-truck.”

The Happy truck is supposedly a big star in itself, equipped with a highly advanced, remote-controlled hydraulic system that transforms a 12-foot high, 17.58-foot wide and 34-foot long vehicle into a mobile stage.

“The innovative truck lets the program transform every place into a grand fiesta and bring true “happiness-on-wheels’,” boasted the production at the show’s press launch on Thursday.

With every single one of their talents in one show going out to viewers in a high tech vehicle, the question is, is Happy Truck Ng Bayan the show that will finally get TV5 into the league of the two big networks?
