In commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of one of the most historical events that eventually led to the country’s liberation during World War II, TV5’s online news portal, InterAksyon.com, gives Filipinos from all walks of life the chance to relive and remember the “Battle of Manila” with the launch of its one-of-a-kind, interactive “War and Re-Building” online campaign.
Besides providing a historical account, the website also contains a compelling library of images, stories and information that shed light on this event.
To further supplement the campaign, InterAksyon.com will also be launching free-admission on-ground activities such as the War and Re-building, which opened on Saturday through March 3 at the Robinson’s Manila Midtown Atrium.
The general public is also invited to the special free screening of the short film Orders from Tokyo at 10 a.m. on February 24 at the Robinson’s Manila Midtown Atrium Cinema 1. The docu-film, as narrated by USMC Captain David Griffin, shows actual statistics and footage of the country’s war-torn state during World War II.
