LOS ANGELES: The Minnesota Twins have finalized the signing of South Korean slugger Park Byung-Ho on a four-year-deal worth $12 million (11.3 million euros), reports said on Wednesday. The Major League Baseball outfit had last month placed a winning bid to negotiate a deal for Park, who joins from the Korean Baseball Organization’s Nexen Heroes. The Twins have also retained a $6.5 million option for 2020, reports said. The club will also pay the Nexen Heroes a $12.85 million posting fee for the 29-year-old. Park has played in the KBO for a decade and emerged as a star over the past four seasons. He hit a combined 105 homers in the past two and drove in at least 100 runs in each of the last four campaigns.
