TWO workers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were commended on Wednesday for returning valuable items they found at Terminals 1 and 3 last week. The Manila International Airport Authority said security guard Arjay Cristo was working an afternoon shift at Terminal 1 on July 18 when found three pieces of unattended luggage near his post and turned them over to the Lost and Found section. Inside the luggages were the passport of Japanese Nakamura Kazunari, assorted electronic items such as Apple iPad, Ipod, NEC laptop, Sony headphone and different currencies amounting to P103,026.40. On July 17, pushcart retriever Manuel Audis Jr. recovered a card holder containing P13,473 and assorted bank cards, business cards bearing the name Michael Pino, a Philippine Airlines Express pilot. Both owners claimed their belongings and praised the two workers for their honesty.
