• Two children and village chieftain killed in Camarines Sur car mishap


    LEGAZPI CITY: Two children, aged four and eight years old, and a barangay chairman of Ragay town in Camarines Sur were killed in a car mishap on Monday evening involving seven vehicles.

    Killed on the spot were; Alea Liana Saraza, 4, Alejandro Purca, 8, and Joseph Cater.

    Aside from three fatalities, 31 persons mostly passengers of a bus heading to Naga City were hit by a speeding 10 wheeler dump truck with plate number APQ-113 driven by Jose “Badong” Sinfuego Jr, 33, a resident of Barangay Sta Teresita, Baao Camarines Sur.

    Chief Inspector Ariel Blanco, Ragay Camarines Sur police chief, said the incident took place along Rolando Andaya Highway at Barangay Lower Sta. Cruz, Ragay, Camarines Sur.
