Caruso Ristorante Italiano is becoming very popular with Italian cuisine lovers especially after being awarded excellence in hospitality and food. Owners Emilio Mina and Dario Gardini hosted two intimate dinners in October.
The first one was for the international adjudicators who came here to judge the National Dance Sport Championship held at the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena on October 18. Guests were Lobus Novotny from
Czech Republic, Algernon Tan from Singapore, Mok Che Keung from Hong Kong, Fujii Masaaki from Japan and Boon Lan “Ivy” Por from Malaysia. Representing the Dance Sport Council of the Philippines Inc. (DSCPI) council were Chairman Andy Fornier, Emma Nieto, lawyer Noel Laman, and local adjudicators Gloria Alcala and Filomena “Faye” Salvador.
Mina gave Italian bathrobes as gifts to the guests.
The following week, a dinner cum despedida was organized for Miss World Philippines
2014 Valerie Weigmann who will be leaving soon for London to compete in the Miss World International Pageant in December.
Guests who wished her the best of luck were guru George Sison, who predicted that there is a big chance she might follow Megan Young, the current Miss World international titleholder.
Others who came were licensee holder Cory quirino, Miss World-Philippines finalist Zara Bianca, Jenny Gardini, society columnist Joy Fong, event planner Geena Zablan, Pastor Ruth Hillary and son Timothy from Los Angeles, California, and Dr. George Sarakinis.
