Two govt employees nabbed for drugs


Two government employees were arrested by combined anti-narcotics operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) during the enforcement of a search warrant in Northern Samar on Wednesday. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspects as Adolfo Avalon, 45 years old, married, and watcher at the Provincial Mining Regulatory Board, Northern Samar. He is at the top of the target list of the San Roque Municipal Police Station, and a resident of Barangay Zone 5, San Roque, Northern Samar. The other arrested is and Noemi Siervo, 41, married, a confidential assistant of Mayor Lino Balanquit of Pambujan, Northern Samar, and a resident of Pambujan, Northern Samar.
