ZAMBOANGA CITY: Security forces rescued two abducted women and arrested their two captors in Iligan City in the southern Philippines, army officials said Saturday.

Captain Jefferson Somera, a spokesman for the 1st Infantry Division, said the hostages—Kathlyn Jane Dapol and Jingle Bation Rebosora—were reunited with their families following Friday’s rescue at a roadblock put up by authorities along the highway in Iligan City.
