THE National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) on Thursday announced that stepped-up surveillance has resulted in the arrest of two vendors and seizure of P200, 000 worth of illegal drugs from them during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on September 7. The NCRPO director, Chief Supt. Joel Pagdilao, in a statement identified the two arrested suspects as Albar Mangudato alias “Abdul” and Capisah Alingan alias “Ima,” both 27 years old and native of Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. Recovered from the suspects were 100 grams of shabu and buy-bust money (P200, 000), the statement added. Pagdilao said the mission of the Special Operations Team of the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs was led by Senior Insp. Edecio Llano at the parking area of a mall in Barangay Batasan Hills in Quezon City. The NCRPO director added that the suspects are facing charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002.
