TWO-TIME SUPER BOWL WINNER CHRISTENSEN DIES

SALT LAKE CITY: Former NFL tight end Todd Christensen, who won two Super Bowls with the Raiders, died on Wednesday due to complications from surgery, the Salt Lake Tribune reported. The newspaper reported that Christensen, who was 57, had battled liver disease and other illnesses in recent years. Christensen was a star running back at Utah’s Brigham Young University from 1974-77. He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection as a Raider and won Super Bowl titles with the team after the 1980 and 1983 seasons.
