This screenshot from a video posted to YouTube by Vester Lee Flanagan, also known as Bryce Williams, shows the instant before he shot and killed former co-worker and local TV reporter Alison Parker during a live broadcast in Moneta, Virginia, near the city of Roanoke. Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed, while Parker’s interviewee, a local chamber of commerce official, was seriously wounded. Flanagan, who posted video of the attack to YouTube and Twitter, was cornered by police later along a highway near Washington, D.C., and fatally shot himself.

ROANOKE, Virginia: A former reporter fired by a Virginia television station shot dead two of its journalists during a live broadcast Wednesday and posted chilling footage of the crime online before fatally shooting himself.
