University of the East (UE) on Wednesday outplayed defending champion Ateneo de Manila University, 72-68, for its second win in five games in UAAP men’s basketball at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Sierra Leone native Charles Mammie had a monster game for UE, scoring 20 points and grabbing 23 huge rebounds.
