• UN wants to refer N. Korea to int’l court

UNITED NATIONS, United States: The UN General Assembly on Thursday (Friday in Manila) called for North Korea to be referred to the International Criminal Court over its dismal rights record, in a landmark resolution adopted by a strong majority. The non-binding measure approved by a vote of 116 to 20 with 53 abstentions was hailed as a clear message about growing international concern over human rights violations in the reclusive communist country.

    1. If there is any government that should be referred to the ICC it is the government of BS Aquino. Hundreds of well documented extra-judicial killings and disappearances which is worse than any that North Korea supposedly have committed. Most of all, the very corrupt practices of its leaders which contributes to so much poverty and deaths is also a veritable human rights violations of the Filipino people.
