JUST as it did in November 2013 in the wake of the Haiyan/Yolanda devastation that caused up to 10,000 deaths and rendered scores of thousand families homeless, UNICEF now is mobilizing an urgent response to meet the needs of children affected by the Nepal earthquake.

At least 940,000 children living in areas severely affected by last weekend’s earthquake in Nepal are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, says UNICEF.
