UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas notched a slim 25-22, 22-25, 25-20, 27-25, win over San Beda College Lady Lions to remain eligible for a Final Four berth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Altas survived Janine Marciano’s league record of 33 points, highlighted by 28 attacks and four service aces but the latter’s effort was not enough to rescue the Lady Red Spikers from absorbing its second straight loss.
