The USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54), an Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer, has docked in Manila Bay as part of a routine visit for maintenance and crew rest.

The ship, which was commissioned in March 1994 and is based in Yokosuka, Japan, is an integral part of the Battle Force Seventh Fleet, the US Navy’s only permanently forward deployed naval force.
