US Navy rescues fishermen

The surveillance ship USNS Impeccable (T-AGOS-23) personnel rescued 11 fishermen while en route to Subic Bay on July 19. The sailors spotted personnel on a partially submerged ship and noted debris in the water, a statement from the US Embassy in Manila said. Impeccable Master Robert Wiechert deployed their rigid hull inflatable boat to rescue the personnel. No serious injuries or illnesses were reported.
