The United States government has renewed its commitment to help rebuild Leyte after the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Yolanda.

Denise Rollins, acting administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), led the launching of Washington-funded reconstruction and recovery activities in typhoon-affected areas as part of its bilateral agreement with the Philippine government.
