US ship in La Union for humanitarian mission


San Fernando City, La Union: The USNS Millinocket, the third Spearhead-class Joint High Speed Vessel, which is part of the United States Military Sealift Command is visiting the region to conduct medical and dental missions.

The group is led by Commodore Task Force Forager Capt. James Meyer, who said that La Union is its fourth stop-over before proceeding to Vietnam.

Its engineering team will also inaugurate school buildings they built and renovated in Bauang and Caba that were completed by a 12-man team with the cooperation of their Philippine counterpart they also held medical and dental missions in the towns of Naguilian and San Gabriel.

Meyer added that it is not only the services that they provide the host nations but also exchanging of cultures and tradition that also boost tourism and strengthen partnerships in the Pacific.

    Exclussive lang po ba sa mga taga La Union ang Medical Mission?
    Quailified po ba ang taga ibang lugar like Tarlac?
    Kasama po ba sa mga tulong na binibigay nila ang operasyon sa katarata sa mata?
    Ano po ang mga qualifications kung gusto po naming pumunta sa La Union para makahingi ng tulong para sa operasyon sa katarata ng nanay ko?
