Former actress-turned -public servant Cristina Gonzales-Romualdez continues to flourish in her Manila-based business, Patio Victoria, with this secret: She makes sure that her events place in Intramuros goes beyond offering a beautiful space with its trademark old-world charm, but also serve as a one-stop shop for brides-to-be.
Cristina knows how stressful wedding preparations could be, with her dream wedding to Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez “a major production that needed intense preparation.”
“It was really stressful to get everything right, but I enjoyed it,” she recalled laughing. “Of course, he left with me decisions on color motif, my gown and the entourage’s wardrobe, invitations, designs of everything. I got a wedding planner to help me since it was quite a big wedding.”
From her own experience, Cristina now ably offers those who would want their reception at Patio Victoria a fuss-free wedding with everything a couple needs to plan their wedding.
“Because we have expert wedding coordinators, we can supply the invitations, souvenirs, flowers, cake, make-up artists, string quartets, as well as bridal cars, photo and video coverage, live band or singers, emcees, and even butterflies to add beauty to an event,” she enumerated.
Best of all, whenever she can, Cristina takes time to sit down with her customers and share her own experience as a bride to be, helping couples relax a little bit and enjoy the lead up to their big day as they should.
