I KEEP asking what the political opposition wants the Duterte administration to do to supposedly “enforce” the 2016 ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague. And up to now, I can’t find concrete, workable proposals from those who say we should “assert our sovereignty” (which the PCA did not uphold, by the way) but who also insist that they don’t want to wage war with the Chinese over the disputed areas of the South China Sea.
