Villagers unearth six ‘Yolanda’ victims


Six unidentified skeletal remains were found two years after the devastating typhoon Yolanda struck the Visayas. “It only proves that there are many people died and believed missing up to now,” Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez said after the unidentified skeleton placed in six separate cadaver bags were presented to him by barangay officials. He said that they would ask experts to determine the identity of the victims which they believed that the bodies were washed out from nearby barangays. San Jose Barangay Captain Leo Bahin said that some of his constituents reported to him that they found several skulls and skeleton at the vicinity of San Jose National High School.
