Sen. Cynthia Villar on Thursday said she is supporting the proposal of Senator Franklin Drilon to limit the use of priority development assistance fund (PDAF) to medical assistance, scholarship and school buildings. “That’s a good proposal. Usually they have a menu where you can bring your PDAF,” Villar said in a media interview on Thursday.
During her term as Las Pinas congresswoman, Villar said the bulk of her PDAF was used in giving medical funds to hospitals. “Now as senator, my PDAF will be used to give medical funds to hospitals so I can write letters for my constituents and they can get medicine, medical attention or deduction from their hospital bills,” Villar added.
