Prominent couple Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica of the Fourth District of Bulacan and Atty. Henry Villarica, president of Villarica Pawnshop Inc. jointly celebrated their birthdays on August 15 at the Gloria Maris restaurant in Greenhills, San Juan City, inviting their closest friends and countless constituents.
The twin celebration also marked double public launchings. The first was Rep. Linabelle’s website (lvillarica.com)—which shows her programs and legislative work at her congressional district. The second was the announcement of Atty. Henry’s bid for Meycauayan City’s top elective post in the coming 2016 elections.
Atty. Henry’s followers and supporters clamored for him to run as mayor despite the fact that Rep. Linabelle is already in politics. Team Pagbabago is the battle cry of the people of Meycauyan.
With over a thousand guests from the component towns of Bulacan’s fourth district including—Marilao, Meycauayan City, Obando, and Sta. Maria, the noontime gathering of the Villarica couple drew longtime friends who are now of different political affiliations.
Leading the stellar guests was Sen. Grace Poe who arrived with Atty. Henry’s fraternity brother, Sen. Chiz Escudero. Even Liberal Party standard-bearer, Interior Secretary Mar Roxas also showed up with a surprise song number to greet the couple.
Also in attendance were Rep. Joselito “Jonjon” Mendoza of the Third District of Bulacan, Postmaster General Josefina “Josie” dela Cruz, and Gov. Willy Alvarado of Bulacan to name a few.
With unlimited selfie opportunities with Meycauayan people’s leader of choice, music from band music, raffle, and of course, sumptuous food, it was a memorable occasion for sectoral leaders, as well as the local government officials of Bulacan.
We wish you all the luck Atty. Henry Villarica!
