BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has belied reports that the bidding for 12 sport utility vehicles (SUV) worth P18 million was rigged. Despite the controversy on the purchase of the vehicles, the provincial government is reportedly pushing for the purchase of more vehicles for each of the provincial board members. The Philippine Electronic Procurement System website shows that the province is set to buy 12 service vehicles worth P1.5 million each or a total cost of P18 million.

  1. I believed there was no malice in purchasing those vehicles for the Board Members in Nueva Vizcaya.May transparency naman thru proper bidding and publication..Minsan nga po nakita ko yung isang Board Member nagtutulak ng old diesel Pajero ( Government Plate) sa gitna ng kalsada nakabarong…

It is high time for them to have new vehicles in order for them to deliver or extend more services to their constituents.Mabuhay po kayo mga Board Members ng Nueva Vizcaya, although I am from nearby provnce.

  2. The Sanguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya is right in procuring new service vehicles for its board member because it is a shame for the province with their officials taking a ride on public utility vehicles or old service vehicles than for their constituents to be seen languishing in difficulties due to lack of shelter, food, source of income, education due to lack of facilities, etc., etc. This is one reason why people are so eager to run for this government position so they could do their bidding daily for free. That is how I see Nueva Vizcayanon officials live.

    • It is far better to have 12 SUVs serving our dear Board members rather than 1 Limousine serving only 1 Official…logical and practical,promasses..
