In attendance were Philippine Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Judy Razon, Dr. Rosario Alonzo, and Ervin Eustaquio, Cultural Affairs Assistant of the Sentro Rizal NCCA.

Filipino volunteer teachers completed the three-day training program conducted by Dr. Rosario Alonzo, former dean of University of the Philippines College of Education and NCCA’s language expert.

The language program aims to help Filipino children born and raised in Israel to learn their native language and increase their awareness and appreciation of their culture and heritage.

As such, Bialik Rogozin International Campus will offer an after school program to be held for 1.5 hours to 2 hours at least twice a week for interested Filipino children aged 6 to 12 years old. The Filipino language and culture program will be given free of charge.
