• ‘Wang Fam’ cast surprises theme park with flash mob

Viva Films’ upcoming comedy-horror flick Wang Fam took theme park-goers in Sta. Rosa Laguna’s Enchanted Kingdom by surprise with a flash mob of the entire cast.

Playing the song’s catchy theme song while introducing its signature dance moves, top comedienne Pokwang, father and son Benjie at Andre Paras, Yassi Pressman, Candy Pangilinan, Dyosa Pockoh, and second generation child wonder Alonzo Muhlach thrilled young and old alike with their impromptu appearance.

It was a free for all for the park goers who took endless selfies with the celebrities who were all too willing to oblige.

The cast had to excuse themselves before sunset as they headed to EK’s stage at the open food court for a show, where Nino Muhlach’s son Alonzo brought the house down with his song and dance of One Direction’s “You Don’t’ Know You’re Beautiful.”

The cast also gave away lucky park-goers free tickets to Wang Fam’s premiere night on November 17 at SM Megamall.

Directed by Wenn Deramas, the movie begins showing Malou (Pokwang) as the last virgin of the aswang clan who is destined to be sacrificed for their race’s survival. She is saved by a botanist Bu Wang (Benjie Paras), with whom she falls in love and raises a half-human, half-aswang family.

Blessed with three kids, Duke Wang (Andre Paras), Calla Wang (Abby Bautista) and Vey Wang (Alonzo Muhlach), they move to a new town where they meet Kay Sera (Candy Pangilinan), the nosy landlady who’s highly suspicious of their different ways, and her only daughter, Elenita (Yassi Pressman) who catches the eye of Duke.

Wang Fam opens in theaters nationwide on November 18.
