• Wanted ‘pusher’ slain, 8 nabbed in Pangasinan


    LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: A man, ranked as No.2 top drug pusher in Bani town was killed in a shoot out with policemen serving his warrant of arrest for frustrated murder. Senior Supt. Ronald Lee, provincial director, identified the slain suspect as Russel Camba of Barangay San Vicente in Bani town. Lee said Camba refused to surrender and instead tried to escape and traded shots with pursuing authorities. His wife, Maria, admitted he was involved in selling drugs. Meanwhile, eight suspected drug pushers from different towns – Reyland Labarientos; John Flores; Samuel Fernandez; Michael Angelo Corpuz; Eduardo Caguioa; Mark Allan Decena; and Roland Ramos – were arrested in simultaneous buy busts on Friday and Saturday. Confiscated from the suspects were sachets of shabu in different volume, drug paraphernalia, marked money and firearms of various caliber.
