ILOILO CITY: If found dishonest in its dealings with the city government through non-delivery of water to drought-stricken villages, Holland Water Corporation, a water refilling station, may be included in the list of blacklisted suppliers at the city hall here. Lawyer Mark Piad, the city mayor’s spokesman, said during a press conference on Wednesday an investigation is ongoing to determine whether Holland Water really delivered water as contracted by the city government. It was also known Holland Water has no delivery trucks and the claimed deliveries were not supported by delivery receipts. Piad said payment to Holland Water must be put on hold pending the results of the investigation if whether the company delivered 13,000 cubic meters of water as contracted.
