AS dozens of provinces reel from the dry spell brought by a strong El Niño, the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) further reduced the water allocation for the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).
Dr. Sevillo David Jr., NWRB executive director, said water allocation to the MWSS will be reduced this month to 36 centimeters (cms) from the previous 38 cms.
