SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Wednesday expressed its readiness to serve the residents should another calamity will hit the province as there is enough funds available. DSWD Regional Director Adelina Apostol, in an interview, said that the local residents here have nothing to worry and assured them that they are top of the situation as they have been closely working with various local government units through their respective municipal social welfare officers. “Even though there is another typhoon that will hit Pampanga, we have enough source for the relief goods to distribute to our constituents. We still have P1 million available at any given time for this,” Apostol said.
