STOCKHOLM: World military expenditure fell in 2013 as the United States and other Western countries cut back, but spending in emerging economies grew, a Swedish think tank said on Monday.
The 1.9-percent global decline followed a 0.4-percent drop in 2012, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said.
