ILOILO CITY: Local tourism officials aim to develop tourism industry in Western Visayas as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) plan to boost road construction and rehabilitation in partnership with local government units.
According to Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Director Helen Catalbas, the Investments Priorities Plan (IPP) is a list of priority investment activities, which the government will help promote.
