SHIT hit the fan the moment the government did not own up responsibility in the Mamasapano Massacre. And revelations in the abruptly ended investigations in Congress served to highlight a cover-up sinking this administration deeper into the cesspool as fingers point up to the Presidency. It took a neophyte Senator Nancy Binay to pry open the weakness of the Cabinet’s security cluster if it was true that no one among them informed the President of what was happening in Mamasapano.

Reports that OPAPP Secretary Ging Deles allegedly was the one who advised the President not to reinforce the doomed troops in battle are not helping any. Now here comes another story where Deles says that the SAF were the ones who attacked the MILF first. No wonder MILF negotiator Iqbal has the gall to threaten us that he will allegedly bring the war to Metromanila if the BBL is not passed. They have Deles on their side. Doesn’t this give more reason not to pass the BBL? Where is this belligerent attitude coming from?
