Dolores Romualdez, wife of Malaya Executive Editor and former The Manila Times editor Enrique Romualdez, died on Nov. 18, 2015. She was 88.
Her remains lie in state at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Funeral Chapels in Magallanes Village. Burial is slated for Nov. 25 at the Loyola Memorial Park in Sucat, Paranaque, pending the arrival of her children Enrique Jr. and Ma. Socorro, who are based in the United States.
Masses will be held daily at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to donate to Mrs. Romualdez’ advocacy, the Maligaya Institute for Culinary Arts and Residential Services, an institution that prepares young women for a productive life.
Mrs. Romualdez is survived by her husband Enrique, children Miguel III (†) and Ma. Socorro Locsin, Enrique Jr. and Ellen Rojas, Antonio (†) and Lorna Sua, Eduardo and Mina Natividad, Ramon and Jeanette Sebua († ), Ma. Socorro and Randy Abellar; grandchildren Bianca and Jose Ma. Eduardo Enrique; Cha-Cha, Abigail, Diane, and Krysti Ellen; John Raphael; Rajean Monette, Nicholei Michael, and Via Lhiz Cecille; Christopher, Cecilia, Randi, and Alexa.
