BANGKOK: A wild elephant trampled a rubber tapper to death and left her two-year-old son badly injured, Thai police said Tuesday, the second deadly attack in the area in recent months.

The 34-year-old woman was found early Monday morning on a road near a rubber plantation in eastern Thailand.
