All the more Camarines Sur Rep. Leny Robredo would have a difficult time acceding to the demand of the Liberal Party to be 2016 standard-bearer Mar Roxas’ running mate in the wake of the “LP sex dance scandal.”
Self-righteous Noynoy Aquino, in press statement, denounced the LP presentation as disappointing, prompting LP leaders to call for an investigation.
For the record, outgoing Chairman Francis Tolentino of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is not responsible for bringing the sexy dancers “Playgirls” to Laguna congressman Benjie Agarao’s mansion last week to provide entertainment during a Liberal Party bash.
If this scandal did not make it to cyberspace, not too many people would have cared about the “sexploitation” committed by the ruling party members.
One by one, members of the female dance group asked their respective male partners to stand behind them as they playfully did the twerk, a suggestive sexy dance move popularized by pop star Miley Cyrus.
At one point, one of the Playgirls asked a male volunteer, who was probably in his 50s, to lie down. She then went on top of him and gyrated, as two other girls did the same to their partners, one of them thrusting her crotch inches away from the man’s face.
Tolentino said he was not even looking during the raucous number as he was having a chat with Team PNoy standard-bearer Mar Roxas, the occasion’s guest of honor.
Unfortunately, he took the flack from netizens. He expressed surprise that he was blamed for the “nasty presentation” such that a certain faction reportedly wants the MMDA chairman dropped from Team PNoy’s senatorial bets in the May 2016 elections.
The get-together marked the MMDA chairman’s brother Cavite congressman Bambol Tolentino’s birthday, Agarao’s 40th anniversary in public service and the induction of 40 new LP members.
Malacañang denounced the incident, prompting an LP internal investigation of what Senate President Franklin Drilon described as “offensive.”
Are you serious? The bright heads at the Palace would not have missed it for the world.
The alternative truth turned out that the sexy dance group has been a fixture at the Liberal Party sorties in 2010 and 2013 elections, including those of Rep. Tolentino, Mayor Cecilio “Elyong” Hernandez of Rodriguez, Rizal, Mayor Cipriano Violago Jr. and Vice Mayor Edison Veneracion of San Rafael, Bulacan.
The Playgirls themselves admitted their previous performances were even wilder and daring than last week’s outing.
A member of a popular sexy girls dance group said many of these engagements entail prostitution involving wealthy politicians.
Aquino-Abad rift worsens
Noynoy “Boy Sisi” Aquino apparently wants Budget Secretary Butch Abad to own full responsibility for the unlawful diversion of funds to the presidential pork barrel under the multi-billion-peso Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP).
But Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd said Noynoy may be investigated now and sued after he leaves Malacañang on June 30, 2016.
Abad insists he merely endorsed the DAP projects and it was the President who approved them. This finger-pointing reportedly led to a “shouting match” between the two at Malacañang.
Pimentel explained that the pieces of evidence gathered by the Office of the Ombudsman could be used against Aquino when he gets sued after he has left Malacañang.
That is if Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales will not be too quick to clear Noynoy.
The DAP became an issue when Sen. Jinggoy Estrada claimed that Malacañang used it to influence senators to convict then-Chief Justice Renato Corona in the Senate impeachment trial.
Drilon received P100 million while the other senators who voted to convict got P50 million each.
Ganun kadali ang kuwarta sa kanila!
