A woman died while two others were injured after a Grab taxi was crushed by three trucks along Nagtahan Bridge in Santa Mesa, Manila on Tuesday. The victim, Ivory Abaya, was on board the taxi with Karen Graneta on their way home from work at about 3:40 a.m. when the smash-up happened. Police said truck driver Edison Gonzales claimed that his vehicle lost its brakes while going down the bridge and crashed in front of another truck. It skidded to the Grab taxi and crashed in front of still another truck. Taxi driver Antonio Maraya and Graneta were injured. Gonzales was held for investigation.
