Yellow warning rainfall issued in Metro Manila, nearby Luzon provinces

With the expected rains spawned by typhoon “Ruby”, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a “yellow” rainfall warning in Metro Manila, the provinces of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday.

PAGASA said under the heavy rainfall warning system, a yellow rainfall advisory is raised when the expected rainfall amount is between 7.5 mm and 15 mm.

Communities given this advisory are warned that flooding may be possible in low-lying areas.

Residents of the above-mentioned areas are advised to take precautionary measures and monitor the weather condition. PNA
