THE Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT 3) suffered yet another glitch early Sunday as operations were again suspended because of a problem with the tracks.
The MRT 3 temporarily stopped the operations before 6 a.m., forcing train passengers at the Buendia Avenue station in Makati City (Metro Manila) to take taxis or the bus instead.
Other MRT 3 passengers experienced uninterrupted trips before 7 a.m. after trains resumed running.
Meanwhile, MRT 3 Director Renato San Jose told radio station dzBB that they are verifying the reported problem with the tracks.
The train service has been suffering from a series of disruptions, including an alarming accident when a coach crashed through a safety barrier on Taft Avenue station in Manila many weeks ago, injuring nearly 40 people.
