Keita, then, together with his yo-kai cat Jibanyan and Whisper set off to meet several kinds of yo-kai whom they can befriend or even battle.

At school, Keita is constantly struggling to impress an intelligent girl named Fumi, who is often possessed by yo-kai. He will become Fumi’s saviour and, later on, her best friend.
