Zonta International launched the 16 Days of Activism with its “Zonta says No” campaign featuring the advocacy and service actions of over 1,300 Zonta clubs and 32 districts to prevent and end violence against women and girls in their local communities in partnerships with the United Nations and its agencies.

In the Philippines, officers of Zonta District 17 Area 5 signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday with partner companies to kick off the 16 Days of Activism from November 25 to December 10, 2014 spearheaded by Area 5 Director and Over All Project Chair Maria Rosa “Bing” Carrion and strategic partners that include The Manila Times, Accessprint, Dusit Thani Hotel, Ayala Land and Ayala Malls among others.
