Downloadable app promises motorist perks

MOTORISTS can now find another use for their smartphones as premium perks offered by selected shops and dealerships can now be availed through Android phones.

This is possible because Samsung collaborated with Enjoy VIP, one of the country’s privilege programs, to come up with the latest application for Android phones—the Enjoy VIP PH mobile application.

In an interview, Enjoy Phils. Marketing Director Alfonso Sy Jr. said that motorists could now avail of discounts on services in Rapidé, Ford, Hyundai, Mini, MotoGreenhills and Nissan just by flashing their smartphones.

“This is the first time for Enjoy Phils. to offer discounts and perks for automotive services. This privilege program will make bargains and discounts more convenient,” Sy said.

“What’s good with this app is that coupons are not needed. All that customers need to do is to download the app, and then they can enjoy the freebies, discounts and other executive privileges,” he added.

Sy said that Enjoy Phils. is in talks with oil companies and other manufacturers for them to join the privilege program.

The app can also be used to get discounts on gifts during the Yuletide season. Besides cuts on services, motorists can also avail of discounts on shopping brands.

It could also serve as a VIP privilege card in restaurants or as a complimentary entrance ticket at nightspots, among others.

The discounts can be availed once the Enjoy VIP PH application is downloaded on Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy SII, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 2.7.0, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Note 2n, and then registering over the web.
