Like most men, I’ve often found myself complaining about the long wait every time our significant others get ready for a date—waiting times that even take twice longer when attending parties and more formal gatherings.

As part of the celebration of Watson’s 10th anniversary, Olay and Pantene held an event at the SM City North Edsa to teach guests and shoppers how to easily achieve that glamorous look. The two brands even brought their “Red Carpet Hair and Make-up team” to “glam up” several lucky shoppers and members of the media.

Olay Regenerist brand ambassador Tessa Prieto-Valdez and Pantene endorser Erich Gonzales joined host Issa Litton and shared some of their beauty secrets on how they ensure that they are red carpet ready every day.

“It’s not that hard,” said Prieto. “I don’t really worry since Olay Regenerist is proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, or your money back guaranteed!”

For Gonzales, she related Pantene has protected her hair from all the damage it has been exposed to so, making it easier to manage and style.

The City events center at the third floor was even made to look like a red carpet walkway that led to the stage where two generous promotions were announced by P&G’s brand manager for marketing and multi-brand commercial activation Carla Sia. Through the new Red Carpet Ready Loyalty Card, shoppers can win gifts and rewards just by purchasing Olay and Pantene products from Watsons.

“We know that you can only look as great as you feel, but you don’t have to wear expensive things to feel like a million pesos! All it takes is basic beauty through great hair and skin to boost up your confidence levels,” she assured.

As a preview to the glitz and glamour that awaits Watsons’ loyalty card holders at the grand raffle, a mini-runway show was also held that showcased the latest looks from the world’s top fashion capitals such as London, Paris, New York, Milan, Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Manila.
