Celebrity couple opens skin and slimming clinic
Known for her statuesque body and good sense of humor, noontime variety show celebrity RR Enriquez has come a long way from being a back up dancer in the now defunct game show Wowowee.
Besides going solo in TV and live appearances, she is a full-fledged businesswoman who runs a successful nail spa and skin care center in Quezon City.
RR told The Manila Times that she had long dreamt of owning this kind of business since she is a spa buff herself. In fact, she has spent huge amounts of money on endless beauty and pampering sessions, which could have long served as her capital for her venture of choice.
“One day I went for treatments at a skincare clinic and I spent P200,000!” she exclaimed. “So I thought to myself, if I can spend this much in one visit, I can actually put up the capital for my own business.”
With the help of her boyfriend, Barangay Ginebra Kings point guard Jayjay Helterbrand, she was able to lease a three-story establishment in Timog Avenue, Quezon City and opened Rejuva Nail Spa and Skin Care Center.
“He didn’t think twice. He just gave me the money and Jayjay said ikaw na ang bahala. Then I looked for a business name na mag-fi-fit sa amin as business partners. Nakita ko yung ‘rejuvenation’ which describes our services, tapos naisip ko my name starts with the letter ‘R’ and si Jayjay naman sa ‘J.” So there you have ‘Rejuva’.”
Rejuva offers a variety of pampering services—nail spa, scrub for the hands and feet, manicure, pedicure, gel polish, acrylic hands and feet, nail art, waxing, eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions, back massage, paraffin treatments, and even nail spa for kids.
On the skin care side, RR shared that they offer non-invasive services like laser hair removal, body peeling, derma roller stem cell, IV gluta, painless warts removal, pimple injections, mesotherapy, botox, facial spa, diamond peel, majic PT, radio frequency treatments (RF), muscle toning, cry body treatments, cavitation, gluta dextrose, and slimline.
In its first three months, Rejuva, according to RR, has already established a loyal following. “Affordable kasi ang prices namin and I myself try the services we offer kaya alam namin na effective,” she added.
Moreover, celebrity friends have also helped her promote the spa, and her endorsers include PBB Teens Myrtle Sarosa, Yves Flores, Ryan Bang, Kiray Celis, Melai Cantiveros, Ethel Booba, Lloyd Zarragosa, Mariel Rodriguez and of course, the Barangay Ginebra Kings players.
