| Ate Gay’s special guest at her show tonight is no less than Superstar Nora Aunor |
At a press conference on Tuesday at Sir Boy’s Food Republique in Quezon City, Joed Serrano, producer of comedian Ate Gay’s first major concert disclosed that the show’s most expensive VIP tickets are almost sold out. Ate Gay, of course, is the touted as the best impersonator of Superstar Nora Aunor.
“Nakakatuwa na ang madaling naubos ay ang mga VIP tickets. Ang ‘di nabebenta masyado yung general admission tickets,” Joed said. Still, the actor-turned-producer is confident that Ate Gay’s concert at The Arena tonight will be jam-packed what with the clamor for highly entertaining shows these days.
“I like Ate Gay, I believe in her talent that is why sumugal ako na i-produce ang show niya sa Arena, kasi ang galing niya. Kaya kung hindi ko pa siya i-pre-present sa isang malaking venue, kailan pa? Dapat ngayon na. Ang sa akin lang, pag kumatok ang pagkakataon, pagbuksan baka di na kumatok ulit. As to what she’s gonna do, magugulat na lang mga tao sa ipapakita ni Ate Gay,” Joed promised.
The fact that the most expensive tickets are selling like hotcakes should be an indication that Ate Gay’s fans who are eager to watch her first major concert are also those who can afford to buy the good seats.
“Siyempre, nakakatuwa ang balitang ito, nakakataba ng puso,” Ate Gay said. And this should be reason enough na pagbubutihin ko talaga ang performance ko para masulit ang ibabayad ng mga tao.
The opening number alone will be short of spectacular,” she added. “Bongga talaga kaya abangan na lang ninyo.”
Produced by That’s Ntertainment Productions, Ako Naman...Ate Gay sa Arena is directed by Philip Lazaro and Andrew de Real with special guest performances by The Company, Aiza Seguerra, Aegis Band, Anton Diva, Allan K and the Talentadings, X-Factor, John “Sweet Lapus, Sexbomb, and the Superstar herself, Nora Aunor.
