BIG name stars have all come out to support ace comedians Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola in the duo’s latest starrer, D’ Kilabots Pogi Brothers . . . Weh?!, where they appeared in cameo roles.

The gap between their celebrity statuses proved a non-issue to the likes of Vic Sotto, Maricel Soriano, Roderick Paulate, Michael V, Allan K, Kuya Germs and Aljur Abrenica, who all agreed to grace the movie, which premiered to a jam-packed audience at the SM Mega Mall cinema.

Naturally, the two comic geniuses are overwhelmed by their co-actors’ gesture and kind words.

“Mananatiling bahagi na ng career ko sina Jose at Wally. Alam kong may kalalagyan ang natural nilang birit sa pagpapatawa. Ilang beses kong napatu-nayan ang galing nila dahil ako mismo ay natatawa sa kanila. Alam ko rin ang hirap na pinagdaanan nila bago makilala sa larangan ng komedya. Kaya saludo ako sa kanilang dalawa at basta kaya natin, hinding-hindi ko ipagkakait ang suporta sa kanila,” said Bossing Vic of Jose and Wally’s tandem.

“Ay, nakakaloka ang dalawang ‘yan! Seryosong tingnan pero kapag bumanat na ng pagpapatawa, pati ako, mabaliw-baliw talaga! Mahal ko ang dalawang ‘yan kaya pag kinailangan nila ako, go lang nang go!” Maricel, for her part, said.

Master comic Allan K didn’t need much convincing to say yes to being part of D’ Kilabots:

“Isang tingin ko lang sa kanilang dalawa, alam kong malayo ang mararating nila. Kaya nga isinalang ko agad sila sa comedy bars ko. I am happy for both of them dahil nakagawa sila ng partnership sa comedy na namamayani ang tatak nila,” Allan explained.

Completing the cast of D Kilabots are Pokwang, Solenn Heussaff, Paolo Ballesteros and seasoned comedienne Gina Pareno.

D’ Kilabots Pogi Brothers . . . Weh?! is under the able direction of Soxie Topacio and is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
