GEMMALYN Crosby, a native of Zamboanga del Norte, announced that she won the 2012 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic International Bikini Class B Championship held in Columbus, Ohio
during the soft launch of her e-book Gemmalyn Crosby Bikini Body Diet in a mini-press conference held at the Kamayan Restaurant in Padre Faura, Manila
The 5’4 Crosby, married to American Rick Crosby of Sminole, Florida, was all estatic when she relayed the good news, her second best achievement after clinching the overall trophy of the 2012 National Physique Committee Atlantic USA Bikini Championship held in Georgia, USA early this year.
“Many women face the old challenge of not having enough time to prepare meals or go to the gym. We all need to remember that you owe it to yourself to take a few hours of our weeks to dedicate to yourself. So I wanted to teach the simple and fastest ways to prepare meals and how women should train correctly so they only need 45 to 60 minutes of training a few times a week,” said the petite Crosby.
She said that there’s a lot more to offer about fitness and losing weight that prompted her to develop group training fitness challenges so that women can receive full attention on the proper way to do the exercises.
“I would have also loved to include a hardcore training DVD to show women of the many different fun ways I have learned over time to get into shape such as boxing, kickboxing and high intensity cardio that burns and feels good. Hopefully next year I can have a fun hardcore training DVD,” added Gemmalyn, the first Filipina professional athlete affiliated with the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness.
The official launch of Cosby’s website where one can download a copy of the e-book and participate in her personal training support forum is set on January 1, 2013. Her one-on-one Group Training Bikini Body Challenges will be available on the first quarter of 2013 in select locations to be announced. In May 2013, Gemma also announced she will have her book printed here in the Philippines.
